Have you ever dreamed of seeing your very own design floating high above the countryside?
Now’s your chance!
We’re inviting everyone — young or old, creative or curious — to take part in our Design a Hot Air Balloon Competition! We’re adding a brand-new balloon to our fleet, and this time it’s going to be completely unbranded — no logos, no writing, just pure colour, creativity, and joy.
We want you to help us design it! The new balloon will be used at events, filming days, weddings, and celebrations across the country — so your artwork could soon be seen in the skies by thousands of people.

• A VIP hot air balloon flight for two in the balloon you designed!
• A tour of the Cameron Balloons factory in Bristol, where you’ll see your creation come to life

🖍️ How To Enter
1. Design your balloon!
• Use our official design chart (available below) or try Cameron Balloons’ Skysketcher online tool.
• Be as bold and colourful as you like — we’re looking for something beautiful, eye-catching, and full of life.
2. Submit your design!
• Once your masterpiece is ready, email it to us using the entry form below.
You can:
• Print and colour the design chart, then scan or photograph it and upload it via the form.
• Or, create your design digitally and upload the file.
• If you use Skysketcher, click “Save” and generate your link — then paste that into the form.
3. Enter as many times as you like!
• There’s no limit to your creativity — or your entries.
📅 Key Dates
• Competition opens: Thursday 30th October 2025
• Competition closes: Tuesday 23rd December 2025 at 4:00 PM
• Winner announced: Wednesday 24th December 2025 (Christmas Eve!) 🎄
The winner will receive both a phone call and an email — so keep your eyes (and inbox) open!
🧭 Who Can Enter?
Absolutely anyone!
There’s no age restriction for taking part — whether you’re 6 or 106, we’d love to see your design ideas.
(Please note: children under 7 years old cannot fly in the balloon, but they’ll still receive all the other prizes — and their flight can be transferred to a parent or guardian.)
⚖️ The Rules
• Open to all ages — no restrictions on who can enter.
• Children under 7 years old cannot fly in the balloon, but they’ll still receive all the other prizes — and their flight can be transferred to a parent or guardian
• Unlimited entries per person — the more, the merrier!
• You can be based anywhere in the world to enter our competition. However, we cannot provide any costs to cover transport or accommodation when visiting Bristol for the Cameron Balloons factory tour, test inflation, or flight.
• The balloon flight must take place from one of our regular launch sites in Bristol, Bath, or Stroud.
• Designs must be based on a Cameron Balloons Sport 105 model.
• Designs must not feature any wording or images — just pure colour.
• Each panel (square) must be a single solid colour — no split or half-coloured panels (sqaures).
• Full contact details must be provided with your entry.
• Designs can be coloured by hand or digitally — both are welcome!
• Those using Skysketcher must save and share the link through the entry form.
• The winner will be contacted directly by phone and email — we will never send private messages, so please ignore any fake accounts.
• No purchase necessary.
• Usual flight terms & conditions apply.
